Materials

Our laser marking, precision deburring and assembly services can support components manufactured from a variety of materials, including:

  • Stainless steel and surgical-grade stainless steel (304, 316 and 17-4 PH)
  • Anodized and untreated aluminum alloys (6061 and 7075)
  • Titanium components (Grade 2 and Grade 5)
  • Carbon steel and hardened alloy steel
  • Nickel-based alloys and superalloys

Laser Etching for Permanent Part Identification

Maitland provides precision laser etching for clear, permanent identification on high-precision components. Laser marking creates durable, high-contrast information without adding labels, inks or other materials that can wear away over time.
